Daughters of Adonai

Finding my way to becoming a birth doula has been a life long journey filled with tests & trials. In those places the Lord met me time & time again, deliberately and gently molding me to reveal the servants heart He embedded and intertwined into my heart. In His word He promises to give us the desires of our hearts, I just never expected that He would be the one to plant the desires there. The aching desire to be a servant to women as they enter such a transformational & transcendent space. A space that can be vulnerable, empowering, uncomfortable, euphoric, instinctual, intuitive, joyous, peaceful, but all in all it is DIVINE! Each mothers body is a divine masterpiece made in the image of God (wow!!) to knit together a baby in their womb to bring life into this world. How glorious!!!

It has been an miraculous gift & blessing to be invited as part of women’s birthing spaces in hospitals, birthing centers & their homes. I have received training through DONA international, spinning babies, & shadowing childbirth education courses locally. I have been delighted with the opportunity to serve as a volunteer birth doula through Operation Doula & receive wisdom from various women with hearts of gold to serve mothers while giving all of the glory to God! Although, nothing can bring me enough knowledge & experience other than surrendering my heart to the Holy Spirit in each birthing space, to invite the Lord to move through each piece and person involved, & to posture my heart to receive the gift of knowledge and wisdom to serve how He would. I am so excited to see how the Lord moves in this season & I cannot wait to partner with my sisters, DAUGHTERS OF ADONAI
